Maple Crest is a beautiful progressive facility that provides its patients and residents with  the highest quality healthcare treatments and techniques. At Maple Crest, we take pride in our interdisciplinary whole person approach.We are committed to restoring optimum independence and well-being as quickly and safely as possible.Each step of the way, results are enhanced by addressing all factors-body, mind, and spirit that may affect the recovery process.


Maple Crest Care Centre offers three types of care stays - short term, extended and long term.

A Short Term stay is for the person recovering from a hospital stay, surgery or illness with the intent of going back to their home. We have  skilled rehabilitation therapists and nursing to provide complex medical care to meet your specific needs to help with the transition from hospital to home. Patients may also come directly from their home for short term nursing and rehabilitation.




 

Short term stays may also refer to respite or hospice care. Respite is designed to help families who are caring for an aging loved one and need to take a break or go on vacation. Hospice care provides the comfort and care of a homelike setting for terminally ill residents and their families.

 

    Occasionally a short term resident will remain at Maple Crest as a long term resident.

An extended care stay continues past the expected discharge date. The resident will stay as long as needed until he or she is ready to return home.

 

The Long Term stay is for the resident who wishes to make Maple Crest their home. Long term care can also include skilled therapy and skilled nursing care. We not only take care of the persons illness but also offer the resident an opportunity to continue with their life interests, by providing a full range of activities and community involvement.

Residents and family are invited to a resident Careplan quarterly. This interdisciplinary team meeting allows residents and families to provide input into the development of the resident's individulaized plan of care. The Careplan will involve personnel and information  from nursing, dietary, rehabilitation, social services and activities programing.

Maple Crest uses no outside agency staff, and many employees have worked at Maple Crest for more than 15 years. We have an extensive volunteer program that "brings the community" to our residents. We invite you to volunteer and join our auxiliary.

For optimum convenience and flexibility, Maple Crest accepts private payment, Medicare, Medicaid, and is contracted with managed care, hospice care organizations and private insurance. We've made admissions as easy as possible and will help complete all the necessary paperwork. We provide home town care at home town prices.

Admissions are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
